Print Reserves

Materials available on course reserve can be searched by professor or by course name in the CONSORT Library Catalog. Once you have found the item you want, either ask for it at the Gault Reserves Desk (items with a location of WOO Reserves) or find it in the stacks (items with a location of WOO Main). Media Reserve items are located in the Media Library on Lower1 of Gault Library. If WOO Scheide is listed as the location, then the reserves are located in the listening library at Scheide Music Center.

Electronic Reserves

Additionally, electronic course reserve are available via the Libraries' ERes electronic reserves system. ERes is searchable by academic department and/or professor. It will require a password to access the materials. The password(s) will be provided by the professor to students enrolled in the class.

Media Course Reserves

Faculty may reserve, in advance, any videotape or DVD for classroom support. In addition, faculty may contact the Media Library Manager to place videotapes and audiotapes, CDs, DVDs, slides, and CD-ROMs on Media Library Course Reserve for student use in the library.

The Media Library is unable to place videos and DVDs from CONSORT or OhioLINK on reserve. Due to copyright restrictions, the Media Library is also unable to place videos and DVDs from commercial rental establishments (Blockbuster, Hollywood Video, etc.) or "copied media" on reserve.

Loan Periods for Reserve Materials

2 Hr / In Library Use: These items are located at the Gault Circulation Desk and may be checked out for 2 hours at a time. The item must remain in the library. Overdue fines are $1 per hour.
2 Hr / Overnight: These items are located at the Gault Circulation Desk and my be checked out for 2 hours (for use in the library) during the day. One hour before closing, items may be checked out and taken out of the library until on hour after opening the following morning. Overdue fines are $1 per hour.
1 Day Open: These items are located in the main stacks. Items are due 1 day following checkout. Overdue fines are $5 per day.
3 Day Open: These items are located in the main stacks. Items are due 3 days following checkout. Overdue fines are $5 per day.
Media Reserves: These items are located in the Media Library, Gault Lower1.
Music Reserves: Certain scores are placed on reserve in the listening library at Scheide Music Center. These are designated "WOO Scheide" in the library catalog.
Electronic Reserves: Photocopies, links, and other documents that are scanned and placed on the web. Course websites are password protected.
