Ethnic NewsWatch
Ethnic NewsWatch is a full-text collection of newspapers, magazines and journals of the ethnic, minority, and press. The search interface is offered in both English and Spanish. Coverage is from 1985-present.
FBIS Index
Indexes the "FBIS Daily Report" issued by the Foreign Broadcast Information Service of the U.S. government. The "FBIS Daily Reports" are translated transcripts of foreign radio and television broadcasts, news agency transmissions, newspapers, periodicals, and government statments from around the world. The full text of a large percentage of the reports indexed here can be found in The College of Wooster Libraries' collection, especially those from the early 1980's-present. Coverage is from January 1977-December 1996.
Foreign Language Videos (OhioLINK Digital Media Center)
Includes the ViewPoints Project of the Five Colleges of Ohio Consortium, Inc.--a collection of foreign language video clips in which native speakers elaborate on a wide variety of topics about their culture, family, daily life, and more. Each video clip is accompanied by a description of its contents, the country of the speaker, and additional grammar and vocabulary notes.
